Every sculpture begins with a natural form that holds an inherent rhythm — a cadence of curves, lines and proportions that draws me in and offers a starting point for exploration. Rather than recreating the original form, I build upon its underlying rhythm, allowing something new and unexpected to emerge.

Working slowly and intuitively by hand using the coiling technique, I build layer by layer, responding to the clay and to the evolving shape. The process often spans several weeks, with periods of rest in between, allowing me to step back, observe and return with a fresh perspective.

The result is a unique work of art, with its own rhythm, movement and presence.

Through a natural cadence of rhythm, tension and flowing lines, the form gradually develops a quiet, almost dance-like movement. The curves catch and reflect the light, revealing new perspectives from every angle. The surface is carefully refined to reveal the quiet beauty and purity of clay, allowing its natural character to shine through.
